Financial Audits & Reviews
PYC has approximately twenty staff, including partners, who conduct Audits and do Financial Reviews. Most of our clients are small to medium sized businesses or non-profit corporations. We specialize in not-for-profit housing projects (co-ops and non-profits) and are the largest supplier of services to this group in Canada.

Tax Preparation and Consulting
PYC staff prepare both Personal and Corporate Tax Returns, and research tax law for businesses with specific tax issues. If you would like information on Personal Tax issues will you please contact Tom McGivney. For Corporate Tax issues and research will you contact Lloyd Turner.
Because of our involvement with not-for-profit housing corporations, we have led the way in establishing the rules under which they operate for GST. We have written several manuals on the subject. Any of our staff can provide you with information concerning the workings of GST for non-profits.

Financial/Systems Consulting
Prentice Yates & Clark provides standard consulting services to its clients. We have particular expertise in the areas of budget preparation, long term forecasting, and cash flow forecasting.
PYC is a Reseller, and John Torry a Certified Consultant, for the computer accounting program NewViews. All of our audit staff are proficient in its use. We have written a number of NewViews procedures that perform additional functionality to the system.
Because of our heavy involvement in the non-profit sector, PYC staff have become involved in financial training of both Board Members and Staff. We have written a number of Financial Seminars that we will give at the client's site, and numerous Newsletter Articles.
